Would it be fair to say that the average criminal mind and repeat offender would become somewhat complacent over time in the belief their crimes would be left unnoticed their past misdemeanors  forgotten..

Would it be true to say that the offender will in fact re offend to regain the feeling of self-gratification of hurting others and getting away with it, is this just a ticking time bomb awaiting another naive person to misplace their loyalty and trust in a demon.

Thankfully for the family mentioned in this story of quite frankly madness the predator has lost his prey.

The mother lost her children to the hands of social services and Gilbank is most likely on the prowl for his next victim so the people of middlesbrough  should play caution to the wind before letting there children play in the street.

You never know who is round the corner these days.

One thing to bear in mind for these predators is one day the people they abuse are gonna open their mouths and there sad little pathetic lives will be once again incarcerated and its back to the showers to play soap on a rope for the big boys.

I wonder if the mistreatment the pedophiles encounter in the prisons for being the bottom of the pecking order and scum of the prison will make them that much more determined to re offend so as to make the target feel as small as them in the prisons having to be segregated for safety as 95% of the prison wants to beat them to a pulp or rape them.

Some may say this is just the treatment they deserve others with the politically correct stance I’m sure would  say it is unjust and inhumane..

This perhaps is true however I believe a quick castration before leaving the prison would be highly adequate in dealing with the culprit, perhaps on entry to the prison and instead of protecting them leave them in with the rest of the general public after all they have done nothing to deserve privileges and leaving them altogether to swap stories and give each other tips on how to manipulate children is surely the worst thing to do.

The system needs to find better ways to deal with these crimes otherwise one of these days they may just have a man hunt on there hands and people taking the law into there own hands.

The face of justice is awash with political correctness and that’s the problem here to many chances are had in its about time that stopped, protected identities barely anything makes the paper whilst families suffer in silence.

Are we being to lenient towards people who possess such destroying characteristics?

To allow them to freely walk around a menace to society and an embarrassment to themselves and fellow human beings.
Unaware of the dangers of themselves and quite often with the way these cases are dealt with others also unaware of exactly what the person has been to court about if indeed the public are to find out at all..

It seems that unless newspapers are to tell us who has done what we would never know at all.
More often than not the papers are not aware of these cases so unless reporters are to sit in court to find out what to print we would be blissfully unaware that Joe Bloggs two doors away was in court yesterday for sexual offenses toward a child..

Would we still look at Joe the same??

I think not but more often than not the sentences can be somewhat short to say the least for heinous crime.

As regards the man spoken about in this post he has been given clear instructions upon leaving prison in 2005 yet has managed to stay in a relationship with a woman with children,
So how does this work then when given an indefinite ban from unsupervised contact are we to believe the couple address this on a              DAY TO DAY BASIS.
Again I very much doubt it.
So you say the mother must trust him with the children surely so thats ok.
But as they say no smoke without fire.
Who is really in control of this situation?
Thats a good question!

Upon hearing of Gilbanks crimes surprisingly enough from the local newspaper I did my research into the individual which lovely for me lives down the bloody road only to find out all this extra information which I have shared on here.

The reason you may ask why on earth he has just had a two year suspended sentence for braking his order again is anyone’s guess.
Now its my job to keep my kids inside or failing that follow them around to make sure they don’t go near him.

Oh yes he fits the bill.. Very helpful apparently you would never guess to look at him honest

I think once you are aware then you think how didn’t I see it before.

But the fiancée who has moved two doors away obviously must think something of him even with social services round every verse end her way to deal with them is simply ” get out of my house ”

This is society isn’t it fantastic how ignorant people are.

Did I mention why can’t they put him elsewhere.

pedophile behavioral patterns.

Pedophiles can be anyone — old or young, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, non-professional or professional, and of any race. However, pedophiles often demonstrate similar characteristics, but these are merely indicators.

The pedophile often seeks out shy, handicapped, and withdrawn children, or those who come from troubled homes or under privileged homes. He then showers them with attention, gifts, taunting them with trips to desirable places like amusement parks, zoo’s, concerts, the beach and other such places.

Pedophiles work to master their manipulative skills and often unleash them on troubled children by first becoming their friend, building the the child’s self esteem. They may refer to the child as special or mature, appealing to their need to be heard and understood then entice them with adult type activities that are often sexual in content such as x-rated movies or pictures. They offer them alcohol or drugs to hamper their ability to resist activities or recall events that occurred.
Many times pedophiles will develop a close relationship with a single parent in order to get close to their children. Once inside the home, they have many opportunities to manipulate the children — using guilt, fear, and love to confuse the child. If the child’s parent works, it offers the pedophile the private time needed to abuse the child.
Pedophiles can be classified in several ways. Pedophilia can be characterized as either exclusive or non-exclusive. Exclusive pedophiles are attracted only to children. They show no interest in sexual partners who are not prepubescent children. This desire prolongs even when they are not in the presence of children. Non-exclusive pedophiles are attracted to both adults and children. A large percentage of male pedophiles are homosexual or bisexual in orientation to children, meaning they are attracted to male children or both male and female children.

Many people assume that only males are pedophiles. However, case studies on pedophilia have demonstrated that female pedophilia does exist (Chow, 2002). Although this is a rare phenomenon, females who meet the DSM-IV criteria for pedophiles display similar cognitive distortions to that of males, such as irrational thoughts. Some differences, however, do exist among males and females. Females who exhibit pedophilia tend to suffer from psychiatric disorders or substance abuse problems. Also, there is a higher correlation between sexual abuses as a child with females compared to males.

One factor that works against the pedophile is that eventually the children will grow up and recall the events that occurred. Often pedophiles are not brought to justice until such time occurs and victims are angered by being victimized and want to protect other children from the same consequences.

Steps to prevention..

* Use every opportunity to develop your child’s sense of self-worth.

* Impress upon your children that nothing should be kept secret from you, especially about their interactions with an adult.

* Give your children love and affection. Sex offenders target those who lack attention from parents. Commit yourself to spend time with your children.

* most simple effective way is tell them not to keep secrets if they been instructed to do so from there parents.

* childen should be aware of the world as it is.

A SEX offender who flouted a ban preventing from having unsupervised contact with children was back behind bars last night after police found a 15-year-old boy on his settee.

Wayne Gilbank was originally jailed for two years in November 2005 for a string of sex offences against young girls, but was freed from prison in October last year.

The 26-year-old was also put on the sex offenders’ register for ten years, and was given an indefinite ban on having unsupervised contact with people under the age of 16.

But on October 25 this year, police called at his home near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, to carry out a risk assessment and found the boy alseep on Gilbank’s sofa.

Gilbank admitted breaching the conditions of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order and was yesterday jailed at Teesside Crown Court for four months by Judge Peter Fox, QC.

The judge told him: “I give you credit for your admission of the offence, but there is every reason for it to be made plain that courts’ orders are to be obeyed.

“It must be reaslised that a breach almost invariably results in a term of immediate imprisonment, and this is not an exceptional case.”

James Fenny, mitigating, said once Gilbank realized the boy was 15 he asked him to leave, and there was no suggestion of any sexual offenses having been committed.

Mr Fenny said Gilbank was staying with his uncle in Kings Gardens, Sowerby, and the teenager was a friend of the family who had been locked out of his home the previous night.

“By his own account, he had not arranged to meet this boy,” Mr Feeny told the judge. “It was simply something that occurred at his address.”

Mr Feeny said Gilbank made the teenager look for somewhere else to stay for the night when he discovered his age, but he was unable to find anywhere.

Gilbank was jailed at Hull Crown Court two years ago after he admitted three offences of inciting a child to commit acts of gross indecency, and two of inciting a child to engage in sexual acts.

Eston man in breach of order

A SEX offender breached a court order designed to protect children from him.

Wayne Gilbank, 29, of Monmouth Road, Eston, was jailed for two years in 2005 for inciting a young girl to commit an act of gross indecency and to engage in sexual activity.

He was given a sexual offences prevention order (SOPO).

He was found at a Yorkshire property where children were living in the early hours of December 6 last year. He admitted breaching the terms of the indefinite court order.

He said he wasn’t living at the address and was beckoned into the home as he walked past on a cold winter’s night.

He had been jailed before for breaching the SOPO.

Charles Blatchford, defending, said delays in the case caused Gilbank and his partner great stress.

They were targeted as the news of his conviction became public knowledge and were threatened by a gang.

Gilbank was due to be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court this week.

Judge Tony Briggs adjourned the case until September 16 for more information to be provided. Gilbank was bailed.

The story in the newspaper fails to mention that the actual house Mr Gilbank was discovered at was that of his girlfriend and now fiancé

whom has young children

As of his past relationships Mr Gilbank chose a single mother to form a Relationship with

after his release from prison.

The relationship which they have engaged in has been around three years now..

Mr Gilbank would regularly attend the house at 18 kings gardens Thirsk.

Flouting his conditions given in his earlier sentences he would reside within the house .

Mr Gilbank was given instructions not to enter Thirsk after the incident in December which he is now awaiting sentence..

Now his partner of whom he was instructed not to go to Thirsk to see has relocated to Eston and they carry on as though they are at free will to do so.

Gilbank awaiting another court appearance on the 16th of September continues  to flout his conditions despite the trial he awaits which may lead to imprisonment,

Is this the acts of an innocent man or somebody of whom is living in a fantasy?

What must be going through the mind of his partner to be so callous and naive to ignore his ban from entering her home town, To simply move to the town of his residence ?

Worrying is all I can say to put them children at such risk.

“25% of all sex offenders re-offend within 15 years”

Gilbank attended court on the 16th of September and was dealt with by a suspended sentence of 2 years .

Relating to the incident printed in the newspaper of Mr Gilbank been at a house in Thirsk,, his girlfriends home on the early hours of December 06 last year where Mr Gilbank had been staying the night on this occasion he was caught out, Despite the threat of imprisonment for breaching his order again why would he risk it all living at this address where children are…

His fiancée Becky Twinn pictured at the top of the screen.. A heavy drugs user.

has now moved to an address 2 doors away from Gilbank which really does make a mockery  out of the laws  instructions for him to stay away from the fiancée or rather the children’s home..

As all attempts to keep him away from her have failed by police measures it has now been left to one option for the well being of the youngsters and that is of social services to remove them from the troubled mother, Such a shame when a mother puts her own children in such danger and of harm and puts her own needs before the children up rooting them from there lives to go and live with him.
